Baby Dedication is a time for parents to publicly pledge to raise their child to love God and their promise to do everything possible to raise their child in such a way that when the child is able to understand the message of Christ, they will receive it by faith and with joy because of the example displayed by the parents. This promise is made before God with the church as witnesses.
