Pastor McBride is a member at Shiloh Baptist Church (One Church in Two Locations, Port Norris and Vineland). Minister McBride attends the Vineland location, where he is the assistant to Pastor James A. Dunkins, Senior Pastor. He has been assisting there since 2003. He began attending Shiloh in November 1997, and became a member in March 1998. Before joining Shiloh Baptist Church, Minister Mc Bride was a member of Bethel AME Church of Millville, N.J. Here, he surrendered his life totally to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in February 1994. He attended Bethel faithfully for four years. The first year he was there he led the church in a seven day revival to kick-off the Building Fund Program to build a new church. Minister Mc Bride, under the leadership of the late Rev. W.W. Birch, and several other members started the groundwork for the building fund for their new church. He served as chairperson of the building fund committee, a Member of the Steward Board, he also sang on the mass choir and the men’s chores.
Minister McBride’s Educational background: He graduated from Millville Senior High School in 1963. He later earned a Associate’s Degree in Accounting at Cumberland County College, Vineland, N.J. He is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Bible, Koinonia Campus in 2000. He attended Christian Research Development Institute, Phila. Pa, and received his certification in Biblical Counseling in 2004, and received a certificate of completion in the Twelve Steps With God Program (Addiction Counseling) sponsored by CRD of Phila., Pa. in 2006. Minister Mc Bride, also, was a member of the US Army from 1964 to 1967, and served a tour of duty in the Republic of Korea for thirteen months.
Minister McBride was ordained a Deacon on July 11, 1999. He was licensed a Minister on November 16, 2003. He has served as a member of the Mass Choir, the Men’s Chores, and is currently an Adult Teacher for Bible Study, the Minister of the Freedom Ministry, Minister of Education, and Minister of Counseling. Minister McBride received his Certificate of Ordination Studies on March 14, 2009 from the Bethany Baptist Association School of Ordination, and is a licensed Ordained Pastor of the Bethany Baptist Association of South Jersey.
Minister McBride is known for his accountability, reliability, and dependability. He loves the Lord and is on fire for Him, and will quickly let you know that, “God is alive and doing well”. His favorite scripture is Matthew 6:33: (“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”) His favorite songs is “His Grace and Mercy.”
Minister McBride is married to the love of his life, the former Florine C. Warner. They have three children; Michelle Florence, Kenyetta Lynn, and Taresha Renee, two grandsons; Justin Elwood and Tremen Ronald, one granddaughter, Kyla Tachelle (Miss Ky) and two Great Grandsons: Dominik and Tristan.
